LS Artist Wax Museum Subscribe to Alerts
Each year, the 4th and 5th grade students work extensively researching an artist of choice. Learning how to formally extract information from various resources and formulate cohesive paragraphs during Language Arts time, the students get to know their artists well. This informs an homage work of art created in Art class and culminates in a Famous Artist Wax Museum, where each student assumes the role of their artist and presents to Sparhawk students visiting the museum.

This year we have a diverse group of artists and this week the students will begin their homage art pieces. No doubt the Art Room will be teaming with energy and activity. The students will be presenting on Friday, March 29th from 9:00-10:15am in Emerson.
