This summer, Sparhawk is working alongside a variety of companies to bring summer camps to our school grounds! Starting in late June and ending late August, we'll be running week long camps. These camps range from Dodgeball, Soccer, Ninja Warrior to Minecraft, Lego, and more!

June 20-24th Nerf Battlegrounds Time: 9-12 PM Location: Upper School Price: $175 Grades: 5-8 Instructor: Sports Zone 101 Come join the Sports Zone Lieutenants as we test our individual and team electiveness in battle! This awesome program puts a fresh spin on traditional games like capture the flag, while also allowing children to get great exercise, learn some strategic planning skills, and make new friends. Each week will feature different games with individual and team-based challenges, so the students always have something new to strive for. We will also have all sorts of obstacles for the students to interact with, so they never know what to expect! There will be no shortage of fun in this program, and we provide all the necessary supplies, so join the excitement today!
June 20-24th Extreme Dodgeball Classic Time: 12:30-3:30 PM Location: Upper School Price: $175 Grades: 7-12 Instructor: Sports Zone 101 This program will introduce children to the nearly endless different styles of dodgeball. We will be teaching Dr. Dodgeball, Prize Ball, Elimination, Army, Ring of Fire, and many more… Each week will be a new adventure of team, individual, or tournament dodgeball. Sports cards will also be given out at the end of each program, with the opportunity to earn special prizes for play and behavior. Time to find the next Ultimate Dodgeball Player!
June 27-July 1st Kids Test Kitchen Time: 9-12 PM Location: Upper School Price: $300 Grades: 4-8 Instructor: Kids Test Kitchen Kids’ Test Kitchen is on a mission to get all eaters cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients! Let’s continue to redefine kid food; one lesson, and one student at a time! Each class presents students with an opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, we’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until we’ve prepared the finished dish. Lessons are planned to celebrate seasonal produce – cool you on a hot summer day and offer ideas for quick and healthy family meals. At the end of class each student will receive the main ingredient, or a sample of the finished dish, and the recipe so that they can show off what they’ve learned! Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy KTK, where participation is expected, but tasting is always optional. Each session arrives with fresh new recipes and ideas to inspire your healthy eater! Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. We know allergies and can work around them, making sure that everyone is having fun and staying safe. *Please clearly disclose all food allergies and/or dietary restrictions upon registration.
July 11-15th Design Your Own Roblox Game Time: 1-4 PM Location: Upper School Price: $405 Grades: 4-8 Instructor: Code Wiz Anyone can build a game in Roblox! Roblox studio has all the tools to make your wildest gaming imaginations a reality. You tell us what game you want to make and we'll teach you the fundamentals and coach you through bringing that game to life! Whether you're new to coding or have some experience, you will be challenged and have fun while bringing your game to life. Through drag and drop techniques or pure scripting, you’ll create extensions to the Roblox game while fostering your creativity and learning real-world computer coding. Camp Outcomes: At the end of your camp, your child will have a completed Roblox project(s) that they will be able to play online and show off to their friends. Your child will learn problem-solving skills, manage a game from the ground up, and learn how to work with different coding concepts such as variables, objects, and write proper syntax all while managing their very own game!
July 18-22nd Tournament of Champions Time: 9-3 PM Location: Upper School Price: $215 Grades: 5-8 Instructor: Sports Zone 101 In this action-packed program, children will participate in a variety of games, such as street hockey, soccer, football, dodgeball, basketball, wiffle ball, and many others! In addition to learning the fundamentals of these sports, we will have exciting discussions about current events in sports, learn the importance of maintaining a healthy active lifestyle, and reinforce in-class learning using sports cards and prizes. Each participant will receive a daily sports prize.
Time: 12-3 PM Location: Upper School Price: $240 Grades: K-3 Instructor: Knucklebones Ninja Warrior is a blend of fitness, flexibility, strength, skill, and fun! Throughout the class, participants will engage in various drills, elements, games, and obstacle courses. From scaling up cargo nets on a truss to walking across balance beams, climbing over an A-frame to hanging on monkey bars, this class allows participants to have fun while progressing through elements…for the love of play!
Time: 1-4 PM Location: Upper School Price: $290 Grades: 1-6 Instructor: Wicked Cool For Kids Learn to program free-roaming LEGO robots “and make science come to life” take out the next idea is more important and see science ideas grow from design to action. Get in gear with LEGO’s NEW updated IPad based software to build and program, Milo the Science Rover and other fun untethered robots. Apply robots to solve real-world problems by creating an earthquake-shake table to test house designs, and a bot to sort and recycle items!
Time: 9-4 PM Location: Upper School Price: $390 Grades: 1-6 Instructor: Wicked Cool For Kids Minecraft Mania is a blend of virtual learning and companion, hands-on activities that explore science and engineering using the Minecraft game. Use an interactive avatar to investigate a game-based educational environment. Engage in both computer and real-world activities covering geology, engineering, physics, and biology. Learn about the properties of rocks and minerals and take home your own rock collection. Use your skills to build skyscrapers and simple machines and plant your own crops in fun experiential trials. |
