December 8th & 9th | 7PM

Synopsis

First, there were ten - a curious assortment of strangers summoned as weekend guests to a private island off the coast of Devon. Their host, an eccentric millionaire unknown to all of them, is nowhere to be found. All that the guests have in common is a wicked past they're unwilling to reveal - and a secret that will seal their fate. For each has been marked for murder. One by one they fall prey. Before the weekend is out, there will be none. And only the dead are above suspicion. We've added some crazy characters and injected a whole lot of fun to truly make this a Sparhawk production!

Jacob Adamsky | Living The CREDO

Upper School teachers Dana & Marta nominated student Jacob Adamsky for a remarkable CREDO moment.

"I just wanted to write to you about a CREDO moment Dana and I witnessed the other day. After class on Thursday, before PBL night, Jacob Adamsky stayed in Dana's room and spent almost a good two hours cleaning all the different tools and making sure the room was tidy and ready for PBL. He went above and beyond to be helpful.  He is such a wonderful person!"

~Marta Kelly, Sparhawk Upper School French Teacher

Mini & Junior Robotics Launch

Sparhawk's Robotics teams just got a lot a bigger.... and smaller!

Carriagetown Robotics, FRC5556, having experienced both program growth and competitive success throughout the past 3 years is now thrilled to announce the addition of two younger robotics programs for the 2017/18 season.

Carriagetown Juniors is a program for students grades 4-8th. They will follow the FIRST Lego League program (FLL) and research a real-world problem such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc., and are challenged to develop a solution. They also must design, build, program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS®, then compete on a table-top playing field. This team will meet weekly at Sparhawk HS to build and test a robot to meet the Hydrodynamics themed criteria this year.

Carriagetown Minis is a program for students ages 6-10. They will follow the FIRST Lego League Junior program and will work together while they explore science and technology concepts to research a real-world problem. This team will meet weekly at Sparhawk HS to explore the Hydrodynamics themed challenge this year and create a poster and demonstration about what they learned together.

Carriagetown Robotics is based in Amesbury, MA and is a cooperative team of high schools students from Sparhawk School, Amesbury High School and other surrounding towns/schools. Questions? Please contact Jennifer Esty.
