Because affordability is an important part of our mission, Sparhawk offers a variety of beneficial financial options for families including scholarships, early and re-enrollment incentives, as well as financial aid.

Tuition Promise Program

The Sparhawk Tuition Promise Program is a loyalty program that gives you an opportunity to qualify for a reduced and predictable tuition schedule for all the future years of your enrollment at Sparhawk School. We know that planning for the future is a priority, therefore we are implementing this program to provide greater security and tuition predictability for our families.

Sparhawk Tuition Promise Program details:

As an example, if you re-enroll the following year by February 15, 2022, you will still remain on the 2020-2021 pricing schedule and so forth for all the future years that your child is re-enrolled by February 15^th each year. If you continue to re-enroll by February 15^th each successive year, the tuition you pay for the upcoming year will remain at 2020-2021 grade-level prices for your child’s new grade, as defined by the 2020-2021 tuition schedule.

As always, you will still make your own year-to-year re-enrollment decisions; however, in order to remain in the Sparhawk Tuition Promise program, re- enrollment must be completed by the February 15th date each year. There will be no exceptions to the February re-enrollment deadline, since the benefit to the school is timely re-enrollment that allows for thoughtful planning.

If you miss the deadline, you will be eligible to re-enter the Sparhawk Tuition Promise Program, but at that year's publicly offered tuition schedule. That year’s tuition schedule will become the new base-tuition schedule as long as the following February 15^th re-enrollment deadlines are met.

Financial Aid

Here at Sparhawk School, we are committed to making independent progressive education a reality for as many students as possible. Therefore we have created a financial aid program that enables qualified students from all socio-economic, cultural and racial groups to attend. In fact, 38% of Sparhawk families have received financial aid rewards.

Our financial aid program is aligned completely with our vision as a school: We seek kind & compassionate students with academic excellence who are active in their school and global community. At Sparhawk, we strive to create a diverse school community that closely mirrors that which they will graduate into.

Evaluating Need & Parent Obligations

Financial aid is based on substantial, documented financial need. We believe that parents who choose private school education have an obligation to finance it to the extent that they can. That includes the expectation that each parent in a family will work, or that the family will use all other financial resources and tools at their disposal to pay the tuition.

Section 529 Tax Plan

As of 2018, the term “qualified higher education expense” includes up to $10,000 in annual expenses for tuition in connection with enrollment or attendance at an elementary or secondary public, private, or religious school. Please consult your tax advisor for more information.
