Scholarships

The Admissions Committee may nominate a new Upper School student (Grades 9-12) for the following scholarships. For more information please contact Admissions Director, Kaitlyn Macdonald, at kmacdonald@sparhawkschool.com:

Headmaster scholarship: $5,000

At the discretion of Sparhawk School’s Headmaster, this scholarship is awarded to an incoming student who best embodies the Sparhawk’s values as expressed in the Sparhawk Credo.

Humanitarian scholarship: $3,000

This scholarship is awarded to an incoming student who has demonstrated consistent hard work for the benefit of local community organizations and whose character best demonstrates generosity of spirit.

Science and technology scholarship: $2,500

This scholarship is awarded to an incoming student whose academic history and accomplishments in science and technology are exemplary.

Arts scholarship: $2,500

This scholarship is awarded to an incoming student whose accomplishments and academic history in the arts is exemplary.

Writing scholarship $2,500

This scholarship is awarded to an incoming student whose accomplishments and academic history in writing is exemplary.

Amesbury resident scholarship: $2,500

This scholarship is awarded to an incoming student, who resides in our hometown of Amesbury, MA, and has demonstrated overall academic and extracurricular achievement.

Seacoast Outright LGBTQ+ Scholarship: $2,500

This scholarship is awarded to an incoming student, who is an active member of Seacoast Outright Youth Group or other LGBTQ+ organizations.  Recipients will be selected based on service in the LGBTQ+ community, academic achievement, and leadership.  

Building a Better World Scholarship for Civic Engagement:

PreK-8 | $1,000 

This scholarship is reserved for families who have demonstrated a commitment to social justice, equality, inclusivity, civic engagement, and/or community service. We are happy to offer this recurring scholarship to children in grades PK-8 for whom bettering our world and local communities is a priority for their family and this value is supported through demonstrated service to their community.
