Each year several local families open their doors to Sparhawk students, welcoming them into their homes as part of our homestay program. These families support the homestay students by guiding them and introducing them to American ideals, philosophy and culture. Many of these families regard their homestay students as family, with relationships continuing well past their homestay visits.
At Sparhawk we have two diffferent homestay opportunities available.
School year program:
Host a student for the school year (monthly stipend is included to cover the cost of room and board for the student). If you are interested feel free to contact Julie Guthrie with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org
